CAPITAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

The International School of Capital Medical University was founded in 2005. The International School is located on the West Campus of Capital Medical University. The school occupies an area of 3.5 acres with a floor area of 34,000m2, sufficient to provide good living and learning environment for more than 800 overseas students. There are 20 multimedia classrooms, including 2 computer rooms, 3 bridge course laboratories and 1 language lab. Living facilities consist of a canteen, food supermarket, coffee bar, business center, two standard basketball court and student activity rooms.
The international school is the main facility of overseas student education of Capital medical university. The MBBS program, taught in English Language is recognized by the Ministry of Education China, IMED, W.H.O., the USA Medical Council, the Thai Medical Council, and several other major medical councils of the world. Our curriculum design makes full use of the advantages of Capital Medical University which has unique rich medical educational resources. Many of the professors are Chinese national leading researchers overseeing up-to-date research laboratories.

Sino-foreign cooperation projects:

In order to meet the development trend of higher education, is holding high-level medical personnel training, to promote the purposes of international academic exchange and cooperation of Medicine, Capital Medical University School of International and Deakin University in Australia conducted a 2 + 2 cooperative education program. Cooperative education project to take home and abroad convergence dual campus training mode, the use of advanced educational management, strengthen foreign language teaching to enhance the level of foreign language, to help students pass the IELTS test in order to enable students to study abroad as soon as possible to achieve the level of English required. Requirements for Applicants
i.    Age 18 to 40
ii.    Good Health
iii.    Abide by the laws and regulations of People’s Republic of China and CMU.
iv.    Requirements for English:
A.    Those who are English native speakers do not need to take English
examination.
B.   Those who studied in schools using English as working language English
examination is not required.
C.    TOFEL above 550, IELTS above 5.5 or pass the Entrance Examination of
CMU.
v.Requirements for admission:
i.senior high school graduates or above,
ii.qualified in mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
Admission Procedure
Applying time: from 5th March to 31st September
Applicants should submit the following documents to Student Affairs and Enrollment Office of International school of CMU:
i．Completed Application Form
ii．Letter of guarantee
iii．Copies of the latest schooling certificate and transcripts.
iv．Copies of passport or Identification.
v．TOFEL, IELTS certificate (None native speaker).
vi．Physical Examination Record and blood test reports (add the HBEAG).
vii．None Criminal Offend Certificate provided by local Police Station.
viii．Economic Status Certificate and Letter of Commitment to pay tuition fee on time.
ix．Registration fee: The Registration fee of application will not be returned or transferred.
Admission and Registration
i．The Admission Letter of Capital Medical University and JW202 Form will be sent to applicants; applicants can take them to China Embassy to apply for an X visa.
ii．Registration time：Students must register on the date specified in the admission latter. Late registration has to be approved by CMU Student Office . Those who are two weeks overdue are considered abandoning the qualification on their own accord.
